Films like these are rare. The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King movie is one of the best the world has ever seen. One can only wonder how one man could do this all and make Tolkien’s trilogy come to life. Peter Jackson, the genius behind the whole act, has given the world a masterpiece trilogy that none can forget for a very long time.

The movie by itself is brilliant, though it would be unfair to call it the best of the trilogy as each movie has been right up there with the bests. The movie starts off exactly where the story was left at the end of the Two Towers movie and grabs your attention right from the start.

The character of Gollum has been brilliantly crafted by Peter Jackson using computer generated special effects. Also, the last two battles in the movie take your breath away not only because of the fantastic visual effects but also because of the grand scale of the battle. The soundtrack in the movie only adds to the entire feel and is elegant and powerful.

Another important feature of this movie is that, all the main characters have their most glorifying moments in this movie. Take for instance Merry and Pippin. After Gandalf takes Pippin away, the two friends are separated and each individually does things that put their names up with the legends of the story. Also, Aragon is about to receive the highest honor and is returning to be the King.

Other key characters like that of Frodo, Sam, Gandalf, Legolas and Gimli continue with their brilliant performances and make this movie a must watch for all. Also, Peter Jackson continues to stun us with some breathtaking locations and brilliant computer generated visuals.

The saddest part for most die-hard Lord of the Rings fans is that this is it. There will be no other movie that will be launched with a similar set of talented people. But it makes one thing very clear, that it was by far the best fantasy trilogy ever to be made.
