While you are not bound to do what others say, in this situation it is a good idea to talk to a close friend.  Explain things to them and ask them for their opinion.  They can give an unbiased suggestion and opinion to set things right.

After all your efforts, if things work you must know how to keep the relationship going.  Attention and affection is required. Take care to nourish your relationship and do not just put it in the back seat once things return to normal.

Stop nagging and manipulating. Do not pretend to cry unless its for real.  They do not like lies and pretention.  Just be yourself and at your true behavior always.

Men are much more emotional than you may think. Do not use this against him. Ok, he is a guy, so do not make him feel like he is a wimp or a girl if he shows emotion. Encourage it, otherwise he may clam up, and hide his true self from you forever. Someone else may make him feel very comfortable being open and honest with his feelings. If you every get a chance, meet his mother.   She can give you so much information, it can really help you patch up things and get back together.  She knows him well.

If you have understood him, you will know what he wants and likes.  You should know what makes him tick.  You must also let him know that you are really serious about the relationship.  So things what he likes and stay away from things he hates.

Physical attraction is not all, its only a beginning.  Trust is what everybody values.  He should be able to trust you for the rest of his life.  If you cannot do this, you are wasting your time.

Brains go farther than beauty.  Physical beauty does not last long and has no value.  Men like smart women rather than dumb women.  Listen to his words and thoughts.  It will be clear when you are together if you both get along together well.

Men like mystery.  If there is true love, he will do everything for you.  You should also be able to do it for him.  Its real life and not stories that you watch in movies.  Its all real, so the love should be true in your heart.  And he will be yours for life.  Then both of you can have a happy and wonderful life together.
