When I first started my online business, I had no clue how to drive traffic to my website. After building the site, I went ahead and put it up on the Internet waiting for the flood of Buyers to come in. What I found was that nobody came to my grand opening. At that time, I had never heard about article submission sites or article marketing~It was a quiet day when we set up our website and found there to be zero traffic waiting to beat down our doors. It was then a friend told me about article marketing and said I needed to read some article submission site reviews and learn about article marketing}. What we didn’t know was how to get people to come and look at our products and services we had to offer.
I’m sure that we were not alone in our immaturity as new online business people looking to make extra income. The fact is you need traffic to your website or blog no matter what it is you’re trying to promote. You need to find ways to promote your Website, so start by doing a keyword search with the phrases “article marketing” and “traffic generation”. The information you find will get you off to a good start driving traffic to your new site.
Article marketing is cheap, actually free mostly, and a very effective way of promoting your services and products on the Internet. It takes little time to put together an article if you are inexperienced but here are some tips to write good articles in a short amount of time.
Do a web search on the product you want to promote and do a little research. Start with ezinearticles.com, goarticles.com and forums etc. Then, after reading several articles and websites over the subject, put those articles into your own words. You’ll find that the more you do this, the better and quicker you’ll be.
The title of your article is important. Make sure the title of your articles include keywords relating to your product or service. Now that you have some points of interest wrote down, go ahead and start writin your article using your own words. You know what it is that you are selling, so go ahead and be a little creative making sure to use the key words that will help when people are searching for that on the internet.
Once the article is written, you’ll want to submit it to article directories that will redistribute it to hundreds, and sometimes thousands of websites. Here are a few good ones to start with. They are articledashboard.com, goarticles.com, ezinearticles.com, articlesbase.com. Some article marketers use distribusion services that send out their articles to thousands of websites and directoreis. This will maximize your article marketing efforts and bring you results in quick order.
A term I learned quickly in my research was search engine optimization or SEO. As stated earlier, make sure your Title has your keywords in it. This will help you site climb up the search egnines faster
The quicker you get started with article marketing, the quicker you’ll see results. Some people have great results only writing and sumbitting a couple articles per week. Some do more for faster results. It’s up to you how much or how little you write, but the more you do, the more you’ll benefit from article marketing.
