Do you have a bunch of playstation 1 games that you don’t know what to do with? Before you decide to throw them out, consider some of these options first.

Many people have huge collections of video games that they never play any more. It seems a shame to let them sit in a closet when they once were the cutting edge of game play and graphics.

One thing you can do with them is make some cash by selling them. You can do this at online auction sites like Ebay. You’ll be surprised at just how much these old video games can be worth if you’ve never entertained this option.

As an illustration, not too long ago I sold Final Fantasy Tactics for sixty dollars. This is one of the harder to find playstation 1 games, so this amount is probably higher than the norm. However, you may be pleasantly shocked to discover that many of your old discs can be worth twenty dollars or more.

Do you have nephews or nieces who like video games? Maybe you could make them a present of your old titles. This is a great way to help them start a collection of their very own.

People with smaller children often don’t want to invest in an expensive system, so they would be more than happy to receive your old playstation 1 games. They may even be willing to give you a few bucks for your old console.

Maybe you can’t bear the thought of giving up any of those favorites that you played for hours. Instead of letting them gather dust, try playing them all over again. Games like the original Resident Evil are still fun even now.

Time never diminishes the fun factor of a great game. It can be a pleasant experience to replay an old favorite. You can sometimes find whole new levels that you overlooked during your original play through.

Finally, if none of the above options is to your liking, at least make sure that you are storing your playstation 1 games properly. Some will only increase in value with time, so it will pay to keep them in good shape.
